Each room has its own en-suite bathroom or shower-room, generously provided with soft, fresh towels, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.

There is also a flatscreen LCD television (Freeview digital), a radio-alarm clock, hairdryer, mini-refridgerator, kettle and a full hospitality tray (with a variety of drinks, biscuits and sweets).

And if you are not relaxed enough already, on the landing between the bedrooms is a large bookcase from where you can help yourself to a glass of sherry or Lindisfarne mead and a good book to read.

This luxurious and elegantly decorated room (situated at the front of the house with views of the village and countryside beyond) is not just a double bedroom, but almost a complete apartment.

As well as the king-size bed and en‑suite shower-room there is a spacious lounge area with a sofa, two armchairs and together with a large (37 inch) flat-screen LCD television and music centre.

There is even enough space to install an additional single bed should it be required, making the room suitable for family occupancy (please phone for details).
