Jill and John offer traditional breakfast fayre including "Bamburgh Bangers" (award winning local sausage) and the famous Craster kippers.

The extensive menu includes vegetarian choices, healthy options and a huge choice of delicious breakfast dishes that reflect the quality and diversity of local produce.

Fish dishes are a speciality

Try Kegeree, Omelette Arnold Bennet, Salmon Fishcakes, Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes or Singin Hinnie or, of course, you can choose the more traditional bacon (from local butcher) and eggs (free range from Belford farm).

Awards

Since their inception (in 2001) we have continuously held the Gold Award from the North Northumberland Food Awards in recognition of our efforts to promote excellent local food products.

Jill and John were proud to be the first winners of this award, beating entries from guest houses across north Northumberland and have maintained their high standards ever since.

The AA (Automobile Association) has awarded our breakfast menu their 'egg-cup', indicating food excellence.

... between 7.30am and 9am but should you need an early start special arrangements can easily be made.
